The
Laboratório de Controle de Qualidade (LCQ) takes part
in the Rede Brasileira de Calibração e Ensaios
do INMETRO (Brazilian net of calibration and INMETRO tests). |
They have accredited tests on salt-spray, density measurement
of polyurethane foam, determination of solid content through
the mass and layer thickness measurement in metallic substratum,
dimension and safety evaluation, stability, resistance and durability
of office chairs, cribs, bunk beds and general use chairs, summing
up 69 tests.
Besides the accredited tests, the LCQ is able to carry out tests
on other kinds of furniture as
plastic chairs, cabinets, tables, upholstered furniture, kitchen
furniture, outside furniture, computer and office furniture,
trunks as well on raw materials (particle wood, plywood, MDF),
inputs (paint), accessories (handles, slideways, hinges), and
others.
The Laboratory started their activities in 1988 and was awarded
their certification at ISO 9001 in 1999.
It is prepared to meet the national and international demands,
being their services mainly required by the South, Southeast
and Northeast regions in Brazil. The last years it has been
developing their own equipment to carry on the tests on furniture,
based on the know-how and experience of their collaborators
in the Center, besides the partnership with European Technology
Centers as AIDIMA (Spain) and CATAS (Italy). |
