The Centro Tecnológico do Mobiliário SENAI/CETEMO, inaugurated in 1983, in the city of Bento Gonçalves, counts on its own premises that covers a built physical area of 3,512 m2. Recently, a new building for the Painting Sector (160m2) and a Furniture Technology Development Unit (500m2) have been built. The CETEMO is one of the Operational Units of SENAI-RS. It is a non-profit making organization that is working for its financial self-support. It performs on human resources development through Professional Education and Technological Services Assistance through Technological Information, Technical and Technological Advisory, Laboratory Services, Technical Operational Services and Research and Development, aiming to provide the technological level improvement offered to the furniture production making in the Country, orienting it

The Center premises have school-laboratories in the following areas:
Mechanics (ME), Furniture (MO), Painting (PI), Tool Sharpening, Computer Science and Quality Control Laboratory (LCQ).
