CETEMO offers the SENAI-RS Furniture Quality Symbol and its main goal is to identify the products that are in conformity with the technical norms and are derived from a manufacturing whose quality is controlled.
The Quality Symbol award has five main goals:

1. Identify through this symbol all those products that:
1.1 Are in conformity with the Technical Norms and specifications according to the Market that it is aimed to;
1.2 Are deriving from the manufacturing whose quality is controlled;
1.3 Are submitted to a survey regarding the production quality concerning SENAI- CETEMO or other institutions delegated by SENAI-CETEMO.

2. Inform properly about the composition and quality of the products classified under this denomination.

3. Meet the pre-requisites about the industrial products labeling meant for direct selling

to consumers and users, as well the Consumer Legal Defense Code.

4. To stimulate the cooperation between customers and suppliers concerning the furniture sector, to obtain a competitive product and the required level of quality.

5. Unite and spread the quality image as made of sectors, applied to the furniture sector, as to be possible the existence of a tangible support hold by a specialized and independent system.
